Mr. Montes has an M.S. in Computer Science, is an Air Force Veteran, and is a second-time founder. His work as a Software Engineer at UPS earned him two innovation awards. He received Red Hat's Global Innovation Award for developing an enterprise financial application that saved UPS millions of dollars.
Mr. Montes left UPS and set on a path to help small businesses succeed financially by starting PROFIT. PROFIT increases profitability for small businesses with its all-in-one banking platform and AI-bookkeeper. PROFIT was acquired by Paymentus a publicly traded financial company. Mr. Montes is currently the Vice President of Product Innovation for SMB at Paymentus.
